ADAS Recalibration Education Event Hosted By Auto Glass Safety Council

AGSC Networking EventAdvanced Driver Assist Systems(ADAS) create challenges for Auto Glass Professionals.

Auto Glass Pros across the country share many of the same concerns:

  • Should I invest in recalibration tools or allow others to provide the service?
  • Am I required to use OEM Glass on vehicles with ADAS?
  • Do I have to recalibrate if I don't unplug the system?

The Auto Glass Safety Council is hosting an opportunity for auto glass business owners, customer service representatives, and technicians to view a live static recalibration demonstration and network with their peers.

Jonathan Dickerman, Advanced Mobile Diagnostic Technician at Sullivan Tire and Auto Service will lead a static recalibration and share his expertise with attendees.  Mr. Dickerman is a leader in recalibration and recently shared his knowledge as an expert panelist discussing recalibration at Auto Glass Week 2019 in Indianapolis.

When: October 23rd, 2019 from 6pm to 7:30pm

Auto Glass business owners address the challenge of recalibration in a variety of ways:

  • Ignore the issue and hope it goes away
  • Purchase recalibration equipment and perform the work in-house
  • Partner with a recalibration expert

No matter the strategy you choose, education remains critical for safely serving your client.

Peter Brown, President of Tiny and Sons Auto Glass of Pembroke Massachusetts and Auto Glass Safety Council Marketing Chairman, believes there's a need for education and to Tiny & Sons Auto Glassunderstand the various options available to Auto Glass professionals:

"At Auto Glass Week we heard a lot about the various business models for recalibration.  Jonathan and the rest of the panelists laid out what it takes to best serve their clients.  I'm excited to bring Jon's expertise to the CSR's and business owners in Massachusetts"
